Volunteer Invasive Species
Prevention
Participating Business Program
There are various businesses around Lake George that are
members of the Commission’s Invasive Species Prevention
Program. These businesses participate in a volunteer
network with the goal of preventing the introduction and
transfer of aquatic invasive species into Lake George.
This volunteer program offers services ranging from
distribution of educational material and referral to
facilities providing boat inspections and/or boat
washes.
